The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. The Smashburgers are hand ground American wagyu chuck/short rib blend with homemade, toasted Hokkaido milk bread buns, homemade American cheese and chef’s special burger sauce.
The banana pudding is crafted with creamy, made from scratch pudding, layered between homemade wafers and fresh bananas, topped with homemade whipped cream and infused with bourbon vanilla extract
Various options for which kind of meal you’d like, or no meal, and a goodie bag for all! 1. Meat: American Smashburger, Salad, and Banana Pudding 2. Vegan: American Impossible Smashburger, Rice Paper Bacon 3. No Dinner + Goodie Bag The Goodie Bag has a value over $50 and will contain local samples of psychoactives, which may or may not include: THC-A flower, disposable vapes, blue lotus pre-rolls, kratom gummies, and who knows what else!
