Comedy at Catawba: Alex Falcone
August 4, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
$18
Every Sunday Modelface Comedy brings you the best comedians from all over the country, and this week we have Alex Falcone from Los Angeles!
Hi, friend! I’m Alex, the only comedian and writer living in Los Angeles (*citation needed).
I started comedy in Portland, OR where I lived for many years, eventually winning Portland’s Funniest Person and getting an ice cream flavor named after me by Salt & Straw, which is one of MANY things I have in common with The Rock.
I’ve appeared in several episodes of Portlandia as one of Fred’s nerdy friends and I was lucky enough to do standup on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
But it gets weirder! I’m the author of a best selling young-adult romance novel about a mummy called Unwrap My Heart that Publisher’s Weekly called “unfortunate” and my videos have been viewed over 100 million times. And one time I bowled a 268.
Despite these modest accomplishments, I’ve somehow remained down to earth and approachable.
