The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Every Friday Modelface Comedy brings you the best comedians from all over the country. This week we have Chloe Radcliffe from NYC!
Chloe Radcliffe is a NYC-based standup comic, actor, and writer. She starred in COMMAND Z from Steven Soderbergh. She was also a staff writer on the series and has teleplay credit on 3 episodes. Her Comedy Central: Featuring set debuted in 2022. She staffed on the sketch writing team for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon from 2019-2020.
She was named a TBS Comic To Watch at the New York Comedy Festival, has been seen on Epix, and was selected for NBC’s 2019 Late Night Writers Workshop. She produces Minneapolis’ 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival.
Originally from Minnesota, she balances annoyance with delight, and draws from her experience of having a huge birthmark on her cheek (she doesn’t talk about it too much. Or, just enough? Whatever’s correct).

Other stuff: Chloe has studied acting with Lesly Kahn, and has six years of improv experience. She bikes everywhere in New York City (year-round!), rock climbs, and dumpster dives for food (for real).
She is a two-time national champion in college speech & debate, and she was a math major. She used to work at Target’s Minneapolis corporate headquarters, first in merchandising analytics and then as an executive speechwriter.
