LaZoom’s New Kid-Friendly Comedy Tour Offers Fun for the Whole Family
With zany characters and fun facts about Asheville, LaZoom Comedy Bus Tours are always educational, entertaining, and downright hilarious. And starting last month, children can also get in on the adventure. LaZoom Kids’ Comedy Tour is geared specifically for children ages four to 12.
“Kids just love the big purple bus and now we have created a show just for them starring the lovable Stupendous Stu, an aspiring magician,” says Jim Lauzon, of LaZoom, “This one-hour ride is chock-full of fast-paced information and skits that keep the kids engaged. Just like our adult city comedy tours, the bus is hijacked by several of LaZoom’s wacky characters.”
Stupendous Stu points out landmarks, performs magic tricks, sings, dances, and—in signature LaZoom style—is interrupted by a slew of silly characters, such as a Russian bumble bee and a secret ninja. Jim adds that it is just the right amount of silliness to keep the kids engaged with the information.
The tour departs each Saturday at 11 a.m. from the French Broad Co-op at 90 Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville. It’s a great option for birthday parties or field trips.
Tickets for adults and children (ages four and older) are $16 each. Children ages three and younger ride for free if they sit on an adult’s lap. Reservations are strongly recommended. To learn more, visit lazoomtours.com.
