Last month, Lexington Glassworks—located at 81 S. Lexington Avenue in Asheville—launched its Glassworks Concert Series, an evening of glassblowing, craft beer, local food, and bluegrass. If you missed it, don’t worry. The next dates are set for May 6, June 3, and July 1, from 5-8 p.m. It’s all about the community, says Geoff Koslow, co-owner of Lexington Glassworks with Billy Guilford. “The community was so supportive of us during our first year in business, and we have a lot to thank them for, so these events are for everyone in hopes of continuing to foster that relationship. We chose first Fridays to help promote the Downtown Asheville Arts District Art Walks as well. Hopefully people will enjoy themselves at our event and will then go to the other galleries to see their openings for the Art Walk.” On May 6, Bull Moose Party will provide the musical entertainment.
