HCC Foundation Gala
Over their lifetimes, community college graduates earn an estimated $250,000 more income than those with only a high school diploma. Providing quality education at an affordable price, Haywood Community College (HCC) offers programs for individuals seeking professional pathways in a range of fields.
On Friday, September 16, Haywood Community College Foundation will host the Shine & Dine gala, a fundraiser that offers a buffet dinner, jazz music, and silent auction. The event will take place beneath the full moon from 6–8:30 p.m. at the Laurel Ridge Country Club in Waynesville. “Shine & Dine will be raising awareness of the Haywood Community College Foundation and its impact on our students, community and you,” says Pam Hardin, director of the Foundation.
The event will also showcase the talents of current and former students. Table centerpieces were crafted by computer-integrated machinery. Silent auction items include a cutting board, jacket, blacksmith piece, and ceramics created by Cory Plott, of Plottware Pottery.
