5Rhythms Sweat Your Prayers® on Weds Nights hosted by Karen
September 24, 2025 @ 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm
$15 – $25
Asheville Resilience!
On Sept. 27th, it will be one year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. The most deadliest and devastating storm ever! We are almost one year in three days that Asheville is bouncing back in many ways! In Asheville, NC many roads and neighborhoods have been cleaned up, rebuilding of many homes and communities have taken place and shops and stores are open! Many of our dancers showed up to the 5Rhythms® practice on Weds nights when we had water restrictions. Homewood provided a portable water station and hand sanitizer was provided for us to wash our hands. I am so appreciative for our dance community members to show up in this way! Asheville and our 5Rhythms® practice have been able to adapt and bounce back in many ways. We ought to be proud and appreciative of our resilience. Join us in this movement exploration. We move to the maps created by Gabrielle Roth!
