The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Anchoring Trust, Surrender & Faith: A Ceremony of Cacao and Sound

Join Stephanie Graves of The Conscious Crew and astrologer & sound healer David Heiss for a heart-centered evening of cacao, sound healing, and astrology.
This sacred gathering will be held during Scorpio season, a time of transformation, release, and renewal.
Together, we will:

🌿 Awaken the heart through cacao medicine
🌿 Surrender to sound vibrations that open pathways of renewal
🌿 Anchor trust and faith in the unseen possibilities ahead

This ceremony is an invitation to be supported, witnessed, and held in sacred space as we journey with cacao, sound, and the wisdom of the stars.
Space is intentionally limited to create depth and connection.

She creates heart-centered experiences and ceremonies that support healing, release, and transformation, helping participants reconnect with their bodies, honor their emotions, and step into alignment with their highest selves.
David Heiss — Astrologer and sound healer specializing in a somatic approach to sound alchemy, blending gongs, crystal bowls, and unique instruments to guide participants toward self-discovery and deeper alignment.
