The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Cosmic Embrace: A Twilight Journey of Yoga, Labyrinths & Meteor Showers

Join us for an enchanting evening under the stars, sponsored by Yoga and Massage (Y.A.M.) and Roper Mountain. This special event combines the calming practice of astrological yoga, the peacefulness of a guided labyrinth walk, and the magic of star and Lyrid meteor shower gazing.
Optional: dinner in the dining hall before the event, select ticket that includes dinner
6:00 p.m. – Meet at the labyrinth for astrological yoga with Katie
7:30 p.m. – Facilitated labyrinth walk with Aimee
8:30 p.m. – Stargazing in Pinky Elliot Field
Bring your blankets, yoga mats, water bottles, and snacks for a rejuvenating experience that fosters wholeness and community. This evening is a celebration of connection—both with yourself and the cosmos. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or a beginner, this magical twilight journey promises to inspire and soothe.
