Cowboy Judy is fronted by longtime regional favorites Amanda Anne Platt, Amber Sankaran, Dulci Ellenberger, and Melissa Hyman. The band formed in Asheville in 2009 after playing together in a women’s songwriting showcase, and has evolved over the past 16 years into a life-affirming, hilarious and soul-stirring sisterhood. Cowboy Judy – WNC’s premiere Country-Motown supergroup – features fluid harmonies, superb songwriting, and charisma to spare. Get ready to laugh, cry, and dance the night away with your 4 extremely silly, terribly talented new besties.
Kellin Watson brings her dynamic, genre-blending sound to the stage with a style that effortlessly weaves blues, pop, folk, and soul. An internationally-touring singer-songwriter from Asheville, NC, Kellin draws deeply from her Appalachian roots, infusing every performance with both power and vulnerability.
Her national television debut on CMT’s Big Break introduced her to audiences across the country, where she was selected by award-winning country artist Sara Evans from a group of standout Western North Carolina performers. Since then, Kellin has continued to expand her impact in the world of TV and film, with her music featured on The Good Wife (CBS), Degrassi: The Next Generation, GMC’s Trinity Goodheart, and in commercial sync placements around the globe.
Join us for an unforgettable evening with one of Western North Carolina’s most compelling voices.
