The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Decoda + Ringdown at the Asheville Art Museum

Decoda and Ringdown take the stage at the Asheville Art Museum for a vibrant, genre-defying evening of music. This special collaboration brings together Decoda, Carnegie Hall’s only affiliate ensemble, with Ringdown for an electrifying evening of chamber music. Featuring celebrated songwriter Danni Lee Parpan and Pulitzer-Prize winning composer and North Carolina native Caroline Shaw, Ringdown bridges classical and contemporary worlds together in a way that feels both expansive and deeply personal.
This program features celebrated works of chamber music, alongside a collaborative set with Ringdown and Decoda, blurring the lines between classical, electronic, and indie pop. Kicking off the 2026 Decoda Chamber Music Festival, this concert experience is designed for devoted chamber music listeners and curious newcomers alike.
