The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. 362 Depot Street artists are throwing open their doors, and inviting anyone wanting to Fall in Love With Asheville Again to drop in this Friday or Saturday. We will be celebrating love in Asheville.
So much passion is in the art at 362 Depot Street. Each of the ten artists paint and sculpt what they love—and it shows. Whether it is capturing the essence of our mountains….endangered species….adding movement and vibrancy to normal everyday scenes…..or simply creating something that has never been….there are exciting things happening at 362 Depot.
Saturday night there will be live music — and some awesome art. A couple wanna-be-chefs will have an assortment of goodies. And of course there is always wine and beer.
Meet the creators of the art, and have an evening of fun with fellow art enthusiasts. The passion that goes into this art makes it a perfect gift on Valentine’s weekend. Imagine finding and buying a piece you both like….what a great memory! Or buy something special for yourself, and brighten up your space at home or work. Time to Fall In Love With Asheville Again.
