Frightful Folktales at Vance Birthplace
October 17, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Join us this October to get into the spirit of Halloween with spooky stories from Appalachia and beyond. Dr. Delanna Reed, a member of the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild, will bring these tales to life through spoken word. Visitors can bring a blanket or a chair and, as the sun sets, take a seat around our campfire. These stories are suitable for ages 12 and up.
This event is free, although donations are encouraged. The program will be held outdoors, weather permitting.
