If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Artist, teacher and writer Kate Stockman leads a discussion about one of Nature’s greatest gifts: bees. Learn the buzz about hive culture, what goes into the creation of beeswax, and how to hand-roll a beeswax candle in the May Lunch & Learn, “Nature Nurtures!” Part of Kanuga’s monthly Lunch & Learn series, the Thursday, May 21 event begins with a forest bathing nature walk (weather permitting) at 10 a.m. Kate Stockman’s discussion begins at 11 a.m. along with the candle-making, followed by a buffet lunch in Kanuga’s dining hall.
