If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Eeland Stribling, your aunty’s favorite stand-up comedian! From Denver, CO, living in New York City.
You can catch him at comedy clubs across the country where he’s always trying to have fun and make you laugh. He won the 2023 and 2024 New Faces competition at Comedy Works. Voted one of Denver’s best comedians.
Eeland has been selected to perform across the country from clubs to breweries to old ladies birthday parties. But comedy isn’t his only talent—he’s also a wildlife biologist, fly-fishing guide and environmental educator. Has been called the “Black Steve Irwin,”. Recently chosen to share his story on an episode of Roots of Comedy on PBS with Jesus Trejo. He loves teaching folks about the wonders of nature. And if you’re lucky, he might come to your city teaching the community about fly fishing and caring about nature.
He decided to combine his two passions in his hit series, Comedians on the Fly—Where he takes your favorite comedians fly-fishing. They tell stories about comedy, get tangled and maybe catch a fish! He is the writer and director and many award winning Fly-fishing, short films.
Now, don’t be fooled by his silly and grumpy demeanor—Eeland’s got a heart of gold buried under all the sarcasm. And he’ll make sure you leave his show with a belly full of laughs, an animal fact and a brand new opinion on everything from politics to penguins.
