The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Modelface Comedy brings the best comedians from all over the country to Asheville and this week we have headliner Eric Neumann from NYC for Friday the 13th Comedy!
Eric Neumann is one of the fastest rising stand-up comedians on the comedy scene today. His late night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was named “Set of the Week” by Vulture Magazine. Fresh from a sold out debut performance at the coveted Gramercy Theatre this past April, Eric continues to earn his moniker as “the best thing out of New York since a dollar slice”, as described by Big Laugh Comedy.
Eric has appeared on Comedy Central’s This Week at the Comedy Cellar and Netflix’s The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show. His three albums/specials, Nervous Lover, Just a Phase and most recently, But Enough About Me: A Crowd Work Album, all reached #1 on the iTunes Comedy charts and are currently playing on SiriusXM. He is currently on a nationwide tour, headlining major comedy venues across the country. When not on the road, Eric lives in Manhattan, where he is a regular at the Comedy Cellar.
