The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Amy Miller:
Amy Miller was one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” comics, and has a Half Hour Special called Ham Mouth on Comedy Central. She is a paid regular at both the World Famous Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar. Recently she was a guest on CBS’s After Midnight and became the host of The Basement Tapes Podcast with The Osbourne Family. Yep, those Osbournes.
Caitlin Peluffo:
Originally hailing from San Francisco, Caitlin Peluffo is a stand up comedian living in New York City. This lovable loose cannon made her network television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, was featured on the Late Late Show with James Corden, and has been seen on CBS’s After Midnight, as well as Comedy Central’s ‘Featuring’ series.’
Luke Null:
Luke Null began performing comedy the moment he picked up a guitar in Chicago. During his stay in the Windy city he developed his signature musical comedy style, blending witty humor with catchy earworms. This unique approach garnered the attention of Lorne Michaels and earned him the chance to perform as a cast member on Saturday Night live. After a year in New York as a featured player on SNL, Luke moved to LA and is now a regular at the Hollywood Improv.
