The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a month will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 5 days for your even to be posted. Ross Farm and Appalachian Standard are proud to present the 3rd Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, September 13 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This highly anticipated event
showcases the farm’s stunning greenhouses filled with a spectacular variety of fall plants for every gardening enthusiast, including mums and pumpkins. We also have a wonderful selection of indoor and specialty plants!The festival features much more than just plants:
Delicious food options, including baked goods
A vibrant market featuring artisan brooms, home goods, and permanent jewelry
Kid-friendly activities including a scavenger hunt, games, and potting station
…and much more!
Appalachian Standard will also have their quality CBD products available for purchase. With attendance typically reaching 300-600 visitors, carpooling is strongly encouraged to help with parking availability.
