Beer City Comic Con (BCCC), a three-day event set for Friday, September 29, through Sunday, October 1, welcomes guest speakers for an exclusive lecture series on September 29, from 3-6:30 p.m., at Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville’s Banquet Hall.
Beer City Comic Con’s CONx (Community. Ontology. Noetics.) is a one-of-a-kind lecture series featuring locally, regionally, and nationally renowned philosophers, psychologists, community and religious leaders, experts in social justice, sustainability, and others. Attendees can expect to hear insightful and inspiring stories detailing the passion, vision, and research conducted by top experts.

- Brett McCall of Better Than Unicorns, a virtual reality expert
- Johnny Shields of Johnny Shields Productions, Beer City Comic Con producer
- Mark Russell, comic book author
- Rich Diviney, Navy SEAL, author, and expert in leadership and human performance
- Donald Robertson, cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, author, and stoicism expert
- Bruce Waller, creator of Black Wall Street AVL and personal chief marketing officer
- Dr. Raymond Turpin, psychologist and certified alternative psychedelic therapy and research specialist
