Foothills Conservancy Seeks Sponsors for Flavors of the Foothills

Flavors of the Foothills, a unique fundraiser hosted by Foothills Conservancy, will take place on May 20 at Fonta Flora Brewery – Whippoorwill Farm. The culinary festival features cuisine from a range of accomplished Western North Carolina chefs. Foothills Conservancy is currently seeking sponsors for the event. “This event brings together the entire community around protecting our precious environment here in WNC, a cause that we all share and love,” says Pam Hardin, director of development for the Conservancy. “Whenever you support this event, and Foothills Conservancy’s work at large, you become an important partner in the conservation of the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounding foothills in WNC—including local farmland protection. As a nationally recognized and accredited land trust, your giving has a direct and amplified impact in protecting our environment.”

Individuals, families, foundations, organizations and corporations are welcome to participate in any sponsorship. Sponsorships start at $500 with the Foothills Champion package, available until tickets run out. There are also eight $1,000 Trailblazer sponsorships available, three $2,500 Peak Protector sponsorships available, and an exclusive presenting opportunity–the Summit Supporter—for $5,000.

Fonta Flora Brewery has been a beer sponsor for the event for several years and is excited to host this year. “The Whippoorwill Farm property is surrounded by 41 acres of land acquired and protected by the Conservancy,” says the brewery’s head of brand Brit Josa. “This event is a celebration of all things local, in a beautiful space, hosted by folks who do amazing work. The funds raised help Foothills by protecting vital resources for the benefit of all living beings.”

For more information about sponsorships, please email Pam Hardin at phardin@foothillsconservancy.org. Fonta Flora Brewery – Whippoorwill Farm is located at 6751 NC-126, in Nebo. Tickets for Flavors of the Foothills will go on sale in April.
