Our Photo Contest is now open to take submissions for Species of the Sea, Sky or Soil until Monday at midnight! Stay tuned for the announcement of the winners on Facebook later in the week.
Welcome readers! If one thing is certain, it’s that folks in Western North Carolina love their pets. We want to see yours! From March 15–31, The Laurel of Asheville invites you to submit your best pet picture for our Pet Photo Contest. One winner will be selected from each of the following three categories: 1) Lovable Livestock; 2) Furry Friend; 3) Species of the Sea, Sky or Soil. Winners will receive a great gift TBA. Additionally, winners will be featured in the May issue of the magazine in our Special Section on Pets. Maximum of two entries per person, three images per entry.
For your chance to win, please e-mail your print-quality high-resolution (300 dpi) image of your beloved pet (humans can be optional in the photo) to Community Editor Leah Shapiro leah@thelaurelofasheville.com before April 1 and fill out the form below. Entries will be judged on photo quality and responses below. Tell us what makes your loved one so special! Winners will be announced in May’s issue.
