HaHaBonBon Artist Spotlight at Horse and Hero
March 9, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Free
Horse and Hero is having an Artist Spotlight and window installation featuring HaHaBonBon on Saturday, March 9 from 6 to 9pm! Meet the artists and have some fun!
Haha Bonbon is made up of a mother-daughter designer duo using a variety of fabrics & fiber materials to make vintage-inspired interior goods and textile art. Michelle has been a fabric artist for over 2 decades, and has years of experience designing and sewing plush, costumes, and really anything you can imagine. She loves reality TV as much as her dogs. Rose is a maximalist designer, play expert, and a pop culture freak. Years designing for children’s museums together re-ignited a passion for playful objects and wanting more fun in their own homes- and others! They both love colors, pattern, and most of all – laughing. Michelle has developed custom sewn patterns to create extremely dependable heirloom-quality soft sculptures and plush. Rose leads the tufted yarn process, creating durable home goods including pillows, bolsters, and rugs using 100% wool yarns. Together they’re designing bright, fun, and funny soft objects for your world!
