Looking to improve your skills in the kitchen? How about adding some delicious dishes to your repertoire? The Farm in Candler offers several monthly culinary classes and retreats with executive chef Mike Ferrari where students of any level of experience can improve their skills in a brand new facility, The Farm Kitchen.
Wind down your summer with Wine Pairing ($60) on Tuesday, August 16. Attendees will create seasonal dishes and learn skills in pairing. Next month, consider attending Quick Weeknight Meals ($55) on September 13, Egg Class ($55) on September 20, and French Cooking ($55) on September 27. Prior to each class, students are invited to enjoy wood-fired appetizers and a glass of wine at 5:30 p.m. while checking out The Farm Kitchen. Classes begin at 6 p.m. each night.
Hungry for more? Take your culinary adventure to the next level with one of The Farm’s Midweek Culinary Escapes Tuesday through Thursday, August 9–1 and 23–25. These retreats offer two nights’ accommodations in one of The Farm’s cabins or cottages and breakfast each morning with the chef. On Wednesday, chef Mike will hold a demonstration prior to dinner, teaching guests to create their own culinary masterpieces.
Culinary Escapes are $250 per person. The Farm is located 215 Justice Ridge Road in Candler. For more information or registration, call 828.667.0666 or visit thefarm.kitchen.
